Our goal is to optimize the musical experience so that children learn the concepts of music in a fun and interactive format so that they build life skills and enjoy music throughout their lives.
Margie's Message
We provide a comprehensive, rigorous music instruction program for early childhood, primary and intermediate learners. This curriculum covers many of the state mandated requirements for music education in elementary schools. Each instructional video provides methodical instruction, practice opportunities, and review questions. They can serve as the main foundation of music lessons or as supplemental reinforcement activities.
We organized the lessons as a progression in skills and concepts. By the end of the main music concepts curriculum, learners will become musically literate. The Solfege series paces the introduction of different melodic notes to scaffold the concept of staff reading and ear training. The Recorder series gives the learners an opportunity to apply the music concepts to an instrument that is affordable and used in elementary schools nationwide. It is the highest level of elementary music literacy since it introduces advanced music concepts.
We hope that you find these instructional videos informative, engaging, and fun. Pick whichever topic you’re interested in or go through each of the series step-by-step. Either way, you will find it an enriching experience for your child in music appreciation and literacy.
Thanks once again for coming to the Fralick Music Academy! We hope to inspire your child as they grow in their musicianship!
